The LTX-Pipe for Corvette
PN ADV-LTXP234 Created to meet a specific need, the LTX-Pipe is designed as a resonator replacement for LT1 and LT4 equipped Corvettes.
Sized in 2-3/4", it’s the exact same ID as the OEM exhaust...no cobbling up adapters to fit a 2-1/2" (too small) or 3" (too wide) "conventional" X-pipe.
FYI, the factory resonator necks DOWN to 2-14" and back up to 2-3/4" (that’s 1/2" difference in inner diameter!). By keeping the ID the same throughout, flow restrictions are eliminated.
This piece will dramatically reduce interior resonance (droning) when using aftermarket mufflers such as Magnaflow or Flowmaster, and can add an additional 10-15 chp to your Corvette.
Overall length - 29.5" (no need for extension pipes)

Constructed of mild steel, it will easily weld up to the OEM exhaust.
NOTE - The exhaust will need to be modifed for this piece to fit properly! Specifically, LT1 models require the exhaust pipes to be spread apart and LT4 models with existing factory "H-pipe" will require a bit more work to make fit. The ends will need to be expanded to slip over the factory pipes. This does require that the OEM resonator is cut out of the factory system.
